I just got back from a wedding in Germany, where the topic came up. One guest, a girl from Berlin in her 20s who seemed part African, but grew up in Germany, was overheard by me talking about a one night stand she'd had with some guy to her friends: "... und nicht beschnitten gewesen, datt geht ja nu echt nich..." which is basiclly Berlin German for saying "... and the guy wasn't circumcised, which is like, totally impossible anyway..."
Young Germans are very pro-circ. Not least because they very often have a cultural background that demands it. Germany these days is more like... I don't know, some sort of enlightened middle eastern country, it seems to me. Integration brings on interesting new perspectives.
Some people’s opinion one simply cannot change. Mine, for example.
