Acucullophilia - help forum for the obsessed

Postby chrisbris » Tue Sep 12, 2017 4:32 pm

I think that acucullophilia is definitely an obsession and for me is has been almost a disorder!!
I really did suffer an uncontrable urge to be circumcised from about the age of 10!! and it took me till I was 30 to finally get cut, due mostly to lack of knowing where to go, and the embarrassment of who to ask.

In the 80s I started off looking at H&E magazines where there were cut guys and the occasional article or letter about it.

Then in the 90s I joined the Acorn Club and got the magazines.

Next were porno videos with American actors, which was the turning point and an 'eye opener', and I just knew I had to get it done. As I was in Spain there was no problem hiring the VHS tapes.

Circlist has been a source of information for many years and it was there just under a month ago that I saw a review of a book about a nurse with acucullophilia, the first time I'd seen the term, and hence from there to this fórum.

The problem with finding the fórum is the name in my opinión. I don't think many circphilliacs would be able to find it.
The best option is to put mentions on other sites I suppose.

The truth is that I've really wanted to talk about this and share experiences for a long time but haven't been able to.

Really glad I've found this 'club' but it's a pity there are so few fellow philliacs here.

Hey Chris, thank you for the honest feedback. It's true that I have probably "under-advertised" this forum, especially in comparison to other "endeavors" like my Tumblrs, Pornhub page, and of course the Wix page. There are a couple of reasons for that. The first and foremost is because, although I would like to see more people contributing good content and posts here, I'm not interested in attracting trolls. By making the site somewhat obscure, I think I've managed to do that relatively well. As of yet, despite existing for over a year, the forum hasn't become a hotspot for many antagonists. I would like to think that's because of how respectful the members have been to one another (and in general), and the emphasis on body positive attitudes that I've tried to encourage. Realistically, it is probably largely because people simply don't know about it. Unfortunately, it's pretty tricky to post links everywhere without inviting unwanted attention, and one thing I don't want is for this forum to serve as a haven for petty arguements (I'm not going to name any forums in particular, but I suspect you can all think of one that seem to go down this route all too often).

The other excuse I have for not advertising it more is less concerning to me, but is nevertheless a bit of a setback to the expansion of the forum. I would not describe myself as a "circumsexual," in that I have zero interest in the actual act of circumcision. My obsession is with women that prefer circumcised men, straight and simple. Unfortunately, outside of the efforts of myself and this site's members, there aren't too many other places where this interest is found, and therefore few places where this forum could be advertised. Although I suppose I could advertise the forum on the Yahoo Groups and Fetlife groups dedicated to circumcision, I suspect that this would merely attract men interested in the act of circumcision, and as I have said, I have no incentive to do this.

This isn't to say that you're prohibited from endorsing the forum on any social media platforms etc. that you participate in-the forum belongs to all of you. I'm merely providing some insight into why I don't try harder to promote it.

I can only echo what Gemlt said. I'm a little wary of this community turning into a battleground. I've tried having reasonable discussions on the site I think he's referring to and it's impossible, and I would hate to see that becoming the case here.

Also like Gemlt, I'm not so interested in the surgical aspects of the operation. I don't think there's anything wrong with discussing them here, but like many of our members, it's the female with the circumcised male scenario that is the big thing for me. One of our members once suggested sharing photos of good circumcisions but I don't feel that this community is the place for that. A cock by itself, while I may look at it and think "he got a nice job", is pretty much just a cock and doesn't do much for me unless there's a pretty girl doing something with it or commenting on it. There are many websites where people can find dick pics.

I too, would like to see more activity here, and it's great to have you and other new members on board to share your own ideas, questions and comments. Each of us brings something a little different and unique and so far, although it's not the most busy community, it's been working well. I've been quite careful in who I've told about this forum, for the same reasons we've already spoken about, and like Gemlt, I'd say everyone should feel ok to share this place, as long as it's done with consideration.

The other reason we may not be so active is that we're talking about a very visual thing, and most guys being visual creatures will perhaps have more interest in porn and other images that satisfy our kink, than in reading messages. I'm not one of them - I enjoy porn (and as you can see, have posted a few links to things that interest me and that I think others here might appreciate), but I like the interactive nature of a community message board as well. It would be nice to see more members replying to each other's posts!

OK, I get it, and you're probably right. Some people have such strong feeling about circumcision that it would ruin the aim of this site.

One thing is to be anti RIC but quite another is to enjoy circumcised cocks that have already been done.

Amazingly, and so typical, my son needed a circ due to phimosis, and I tried to get them to 'save' the foreskin. This was because I thought it might cause my 'problems' internally.
In the end they woman surgeon did the mínimum partial cut. She mentioned that about 15% of boys have foreskin problems.
I was going to say stuff like, "I'd like him to have a complete circ to be like me", but I I felt too embarrassed to bring it up anyway.
If he wants to 'complete' the job I'll be there to give advice. Some circumsexuals argue strongly in favor of RIC, I think it should be a choice, however, I'm REALLY glad it exists in the USA as there are so many cur guys.

This is the type of topic I like to talk about as well as girl admiring cut cocks. I think that most of us here would be considered 'circumsexual' as we find it a sexual turn-on.
I admit that I love nearly every aspect of it, as you can see in my posts and videos on Xtube.

I look forward to swapping views here.

RIC is really a pandora's box. I'll leave it to Gemlt to say whether we're the right community to discuss it at length (because most discussions can get very lengthy). Personally I'm all for it. I tend to put it into the 'parents have to make decisions for the children every day and this is just one of them" line of thinking. And especially in this day and age where anaesthesia is used, I don't buy into the male genital mutilation talk at all.

Just my opinion.

I'm not going to argue against RIC.
In the States I'm 100% sure I would've said YES to it. It's cultural.

I'd like to discuss what method they use to ensure a great result, and what a good result is.
They seem a bit hit and miss looking at the American porn videos.
But this is a topic for another thread.

One of the main things that sways me in favour of RIC is how (relatively) simple it seems to be, irrespective of technique used. As an adult cut (and I'm sure you'll agree with me here Chris), the whole process is so convoluted, embarrassing, and the end results almost never as good as what you get in infancy.

From what I've seen the Gomco clamp looks like it gives uniformly good results. And if you search Dr Pollock in Canada - he uses a simple 'pull, clamp and cut' technique that seems to be very simple. I wish mine had gone like that.

I am glad this site is hard to find. I believe if someone knows the word "acucullophilia" and acts upon it, it is almost like using a masonic handshake. Only a hardened pursuer of this topic will even get this far. So, well done, GemIt. I think a good forum does not need to have a lot of traffic if the content is strong. And given the niche group we are, there probably wouldn't be rapidly rising viewing figures even if everyone who shares our obsession were here.

I did an experiment recently and posted my most recent story here, Magic Circs, on lpsg.com's fictitious stories section to see what would happen. I fully expected to be inundated in hateful remarks, but nothing like that; instead, I had about 700 reads within a week. I thought that was amazing, until I realized that stories like "blonde bitch gets big black cock" score 25.000 views in that time. Raunch is dishearteningly unintellectual...
:D
So, long story short, I'd see this place here as the one where the few connoisseurs congregate, and I think that's what makes it worth coming to.
Some people’s opinion one simply cannot change. Mine, for example.
