I really like circ worship videos where the girl isn't American. It's an interesting twist. Kaidence King's are probably the best I think.

It's a shame we don't know Kaidence's real preference. She's a bit hesitant to answer that question.

I absolutely agree about non-American girls in circ-worship videos. I also agree about Kaidence. She's super hot and it would be great to know her preference.

I had recently commissioned a video from a super hot blonde Aussie who has a cut boyfriend and I was so excited to finally get an Aussie! But when she delivered the video it was complete garbage, so dark you could barely see anything and literally almost no part of the script I wrote was spoken. I asked her to remake the video, but instead she blocked me on ELM and I assume email as well. So that was disappointing. The silver lining is that I had paid her through PayPal so I opened a claim against her for not delivering what we had agreed upon and they sided with me giving me all of my money back, so there's that. But truthfully, I would rather have had that video.

I know all too well the woes of the "overly amateur" video. Although I sometimes won't include directions for filming from models that have samples of their work that are obviously as close to professional as you can expect, I've usually included 4-5 directions with each custom video. In addition to asking that the scene be well-lit, I'll tell them that I want the video shot "landscape" rather than "portrait", ask them not to have any controllable background noise (e.g., sounds from outside are okay, but turn the TV off), that the audio be audible (seems obvious, but I've got a handful of videos where even my best audio editing can't get more than a line or two out of a video), and I'll usually request them to make sure that their body and face are visible in most shots (i.e., closeups are okay, but I'm not interested in eight minutes of blurred video with only their stomach and pubic hair in frame). I'll also include a basic script with most customs so that they at least have an idea of what I'm looking for, but I'll encourage them to improvise as much as they want to as long as there's a substantial amount of cut cock worship dialogue. There's still always a handful of videos that fail to meet one or more of these requests, but since I started including these instructions I feel like I've been getting way fewer of them. I will also admit that considerably fewer of my projects end up being completed, so I suspect that these directions discourage a lot of the models from finishing the video. That said,I'd rather get the money back to put towards other projects than get another mediocre video that isn't worth watching a second time.

I should add that I also avoid 3rd party payment systems like PayPal for a couple of reasons. One is that ELM will delete your account and take all of your credits with them if they ever find out that you're agreeing on payment methods other than their escrow system on their site. More significantly, I've been burned by a model that I thought I could trust (Arielle Aquinas-who made two pretty decent videos for me before she started starring in mainstream porn). Arielle was fantastic to work with on for the two original projects, so when she asked me to send her a GiftRocket payment for a third project, I barely thought twice about it. Unfortunately, she’s never written back to me the many times I’ve emailed her. I’ve had a handful of woman ask me to make arrangements outside of escrow since then, and I’ve always had to decline.

I've not spent a great deal of time on ELM, but when I have, it's not so clear how to get a custom made for you. I've just seen the clips each model has for sale.

Is it as simple as finding someone you like the look of and writing your requests directly to them?

There are three general ways you could go about ordering a custom clip.

Option 1: The first is to find a model offering a custom video at a fixed rate by going to "Videos" then under "Project type" and selecting “custom”. I usually don't go this route, simply because a minority of models willing to make custom content advertise a specific video package that I'm interested in. It can, however, be useful for finding models willing to produce a cheap custom video, but I'll usually still go set up my own project with them. If you do this option, I would still recommend messaging the model first to see if they're willing to do the project.

Option 2: Use the "Requests" forum. For this option, you post what you want to in a project (photos, pics, etc.), as well as the price you're willing to pay, and models willing to provide the content at that rate say that they're willing, and you choose which one(s) you'd like to work with. I don't do this for what I would describe as "more important" (i.e., more expensive) projects, because you might not attract the sort of models that you want. There are a small handful of models that will say they'll do just about everything (and if you see a model responding to pretty much every request, I'd probably avoid working with them Typically these models are pushing out a bunch of quickly produced content that very rarely satisfies me. There are exceptions, though, and checking out the models previews and reviews from her buyers can help you find the more reliable ones. I typically reserve this option for cheap and easy projects (such as the fan signs you see on my Tumblr and Wix page). It's a good way of identifying 5-10 models willing to produce a quick project, about half of whom might actually finish it for the pocket change you offer. Occasionally I will use the Requests section to find a model that will produce a super cheap (i.e., $10-15) video, and if you're looking to get a really cheap video, this is a fast way of finding a model that will work with you. That said, the quality of the content is pretty hit-or-miss when using this option. I should also say that some people do offer up larger payments for projects, and will receive feedback from more professional models, but I usually prefer to follow option 3 below than to use this option. Also, I always contact each model that responds before I set up an escrow to confirm that the rate and terms are acceptable to her.

Option 3: Find a model that you want to work with and message her directly. First of all, make sure that she's still active (I usually go to "Sellers" then "Recently Joined" or "Recently Online" to see which models are more likely to be actively producing content). When I find a model I'd like to work with, I send them an email where I flatter them, give them a general idea of what I'm looking for, and introduce the topic of price. Usually, I'll propose a rate (i.e., $1/photo or $1/minute of video for solo, or $2/minute of video for boy/girl (B/G)), but assure them that I'm open to counter-offers. If I really like a model, and particularly if they look like they're "semi-pro," I might ask them what rate they charge so that they don't completely ignore the message because I'm shooting too low with the price. As it is, I probably only get one response for every 4-5 messages I send, and of those, I might get a project started with half. Of those, probably about half of the projects end up being delivered, so figure that if you were to also follow this method, you'd probably have to send 16-20 messages for each finished project. That might be an overestimation, but it's probably not that far off.

Regarding payment, unless you choose to purchase a predefined Custom Job from the model, you pay the seller via an escrow system. In essence, you send however many credits to the seller, however they have to deliver the product before you have to close out the escrow and deliver the credits to the seller. I like this safeguard, and so despite actually receiving only about half of the jobs that I set up, I only pay for the ones that are delivered. Furthermore, ELM's been quick to refund me on the rare (probably about 1/200) occasion that the delivered product isn't remotely what I asked for.

Some further notes on selecting a model: I would recommend checking out any previews she has. Keep in mind that for most models, this is representative of her best quality work, so if a preview looks grainy, poorly lit, etc., I usually don't work with a model any more. Likewise, if a photo only uses odd angles of the face, never shows the model's abdomen or arms, it's usually safe to say that she's trying to look thinner than she actually is. I add these remarks because of a couple years of getting pretty mediocre videos from overweight models that looked great in the selfies that they posted to their profile. If the model has Custom Jobs, Custom Work Info, or previously produced Download Now content, she's probably much more familiar with dealing with a broad spectrum of requests, and is usually much more likely to be willing to produce a custom project for you. The flip side of that is that more experienced models are often (but not always) more expensive (i.e., $40-100, rather than $10-40 for a video). While some are able to churn out large volumes of cheap projects, most of the higher end sellers are going to cost more than the newbies. New sellers are usually willing and able to do a lot less, will probably have shittier equipment and room setups, but will often make much cheaper projects. I'll sometimes commission cheap and easy (usually photo) projects from brand new sellers, because they aren't aware that ELM takes about a 30% cut on every sale, however the quality is unreliable for the reasons described.

One other point I should probably include is that I don't recommend sharing images or photos without the model's consent, unless they decide to resell the product on their own, in which case I figure it's okay to promote it. Share the model's work without asking for her permission, and you'll get blacklisted quickly among custom porn producers. I follow a handful on Twitter, and I see at least one retweet a week where they're warning each other to avoid a seller that posts custom videos they made for him to PornHub or something.

I'm sure that there are other pointers I could come up with, but this is probably more than most people need. Let me know if any of you have any other questions!
